MaiLi

Indication — MaiLi® is indicated for the correction of facial wrinkles or folds, the definition or enhancement of the lips, and the restoration or enhancement of facial volume. The MaiLi range includes variants designed for injection at different depths and facial areas. Indications for the product may vary depending on different variant and the product registration status across different jurisdictions. Individual effects may vary.
Important safety information — MaiLi® should only be administered by healthcare practitioners with expertise in soft tissue augmentation who have familiarised themselves with the product and its complete Instructions for Use, in accordance with local regulations. MaiLi® should not be used in patients with: known hypersensitivity to hyaluronic acid, lidocaine or amide local anaesthetics; history of severe allergy or anaphylactic shock; autoimmune disease; porphyria; cutaneous disorders, inflammation or infection at or near the treatment site; known susceptibility to keloid formation, hypertrophic scarring or other healing disorders; bleeding disorders or current treatment with thrombolytics or anticoagulants; pregnancy or breast-feeding; or in children under 18 years. Do not inject MaiLi® into blood vessels or directly adjacent to blood vessels, as this can cause vascular compromise. For the complete list of warnings, precautions and administration instructions — including where and how MaiLi® should and should not be injected, maximum treatment volumes and aftercare — please refer to the current local Instructions for Use (IFU). Patients using medications that can affect platelet function or prolong bleeding, such as aspirin or non-inflammatory drugs, may experience increased bruising or bleeding at the injection site. After treatment, minimise exposure of the treated area to excessive sun, UV rays and extreme cold, and avoid sauna or hammam sessions, cosmetic products for 12 hours, and intense pressure or massage for a few days until any initial swelling and redness has resolved.
